Seaside Shakespeare presents high quality, creative theatre. Utilizing the talents of both visiting and local professionals, we present the works of William Shakespeare and other inspiring artists on Nantucket Island and beyond.

SEASIDE SHAKESPEARE joins forces with Atheneum and Friends of Nantucket Public Schools, to offer MATINEE PERFORMANCES for NANTUCKET STUDENTS
Nantucket students were treated to a reprise of A Midsummer Night's Dream in October. Peformances for over 200 students took place at Bennett Hall and the Nantucket High School Auditorium, and were each followed by Q&A session after the shows with the director, musicians, and actors.
Seaside Shakespeare then spent a day visiting and working with the NHS Freshman classes who studied the play.
Support for these programs came from the Nantucket Atheneum and the Friends of Nantucket Public Schools. Seashakes is especially grateful for their support of our efforts to offer FREE live Shakespeare productions to every Nantucket student. Thank you!
